Automation Tester (REF: NRJ3072)

The NetRefer Automation Tester will a member of the QA team and will be responsible for participating in the design and mplementation of tooling and infrastructure for testing the NetRefer suit of products. In addition, he/ she will collaborate with Quality Engineering and Development team to create and evolve policies, best practices, and testing frameworks for distributed systems testing.

Main Duties:

• Reporting to QA Manager.
• Analyze product requirements and functional specifications.
• Actively participate in design, implementation and support of the API between company product and test automation framework.
• Recommend most suitable QA practices.
• Develop test plans, test cases, for both manual and automated testing.
• Execute regression tests, functional tests, performance tests and data tests.
• Maintain defects log.
  

Required Attributes:

• Experience in QA and understanding of development life cycle.
• Good knowledge of software testing methodologies and procedures.
• Good knowledge of development standards and testing tools.
• Experience in script languages (Windows: VBS, DOS ; Linux: Bash or other).
• Sound SQL knowledge.
  

Experience in the following is a plus:

• Experience with testing Web based applications.
• Experience with testing application built using ASP.NET 2.0/3.5/4.0, Ajax, Web Services, JavaScript, HTML/XHTML, CSS.
• Familiarity with testing tools such as QTP, Selenium, Mercury or others will be a plus.
• Experience in design and execution of performance tests.

• Some experience in advanced testing techniques: performance testing, security testing, compatibility testing.
